GP Strategies is currently investigating the usage and development of undersea autonomous
unmanned vehicles (AUVs) such as the Autonomous Undersea Platform.
GP Strategies believes that a new industry is emerging in the New England region
to produce, test, and maintain AUVs. The AUP depicted is one of the devices that
would be required to be incorporated into a commercial/military portable test range.
GP Strategies envisions the Virtual Maintenance
Engineering Platform as the device that will be used to control the portable
test range. An application of the AUP was presented in the National Defense Magazine
